Special Expertise
Lecturer at local Universities about Business and Community Planning. Modeled and
forecast Land Use and Zoning scenarios for the Hunters Point Special District, Special Sub-
district, and Queens West developments. Developed and performed Emergency Planning
and Emergency Management role playing and computer gaming for the Department of
Defense, Department of Commerce and FEMA as Secretarial Appointee. Authored
textbooks re: Network Planning Techniques, Bar Code Applications, and Computer
Integrated Manufacturing Vocabulary for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Authored
PERT Planning text for R. C. Sellers and PERT/CPM planning text for the Victoria
Employers Federation (Australia). Authored 600+ magazine articles.
Created Transitioning System for Advanced Technologies (Manufacturing, Automation,
Biotechnologies, Medicine and Intelligence) used by DOD, Army, Navy and US Air Force,
IITRI, CAM-International and CACI, Inc. Named US SBA Innovation Awardee, 1985.
Honored by NYS Senate and Assembly for business expansion results in New York State.
Twice named Outstanding Engineer by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).
Elected Fellow by the Institute for the Advancement of Engineering 1984. Elected Fellow
by the Institution of Production Engineers (England) 1986. Lectured internationally in 1986
representing SME President William Johnson. Awarded an "Oscar," authorized by the
National Academy of Film Arts and Sciences, from the Los Angeles Society of Engineers
and Scientists for applying bar coding to motion picture studio inventories. Selected by
Lesko Publications as Innovator for cross pollinating technologies. Elected Fellow Society

Responsible for managing consulting operations (Systems Analysis, Risk Analysis,
Computer Security, Disaster Recovery Planning, Data Mining and Market Research.) Redefined
data processing operations for clients. Implemented state-of-the-art planning systems for AIL,
LORAL, Solarex, and Standard Oil of Ohio. Integrated Materials Management applications with
outsourcing and supplier management for Waldes Kohinoor and Grumman. Taught PERT/CPM,
Computer Security, Bar Coding Applications, Technology Transfer and Shop Floor Management
for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the American Management Association. Trained
consultants to perform program reviews for Federal agencies (Mil-Std. 1521A). Lecturer at Hofstra,
NYIT and New York Polytechnical Universities. Expert witness explaining the legal ramifications
of poor planning. Served as volunteer Executive Director for a not-for-profit Community
Development Corporation creating $150,000 in consistent annual income.

Responsible for Configuration and Logistics Management at USAF/ASD. System designer to
USAF. Created and implemented Production Control systems for Federal Contractors. Advised
and created computer integrated manufacturing strategies to optimize Federal contracts. Audited
purchasing, materials management and shipping/receiving to assure compliance with Military
standards. Bar code market application strategist. Authored Society of Manufacturing Engineers
Bar Code Primer. Created and taught the Bar Code implementation programs for SME, AIIE, and
the American Management Association. Appointed by the Secretary of Defense to the ANSI Bar
Code committee (X-10) and the US DOD LOGMARS Implementation Advisory Council.
Transferred Technology under contract to USAF, US Army and US Navy. Created the SME
Computer Integrated Manufacturing glossary (remains ILO world standard.) Developed Network
Transfer Bus to facilitate Engineering to Manufacturing data transfer for Lockheed-Martin Loral
Electronic Systems.
